Barnik Chitran Maitra brings over 20 years of strategy consulting, business building, and investment experience across Asia and the United States, with deep expertise in technology and corporate finance.

He served as Managing Partner at McKinsey & Company, leading the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice and driving the firm's expansion across Asia. Prior to Hyperion, he was Managing Partner for India and South Asia at Arthur D. Little. He has been closely involved in entrepreneurial and investment initiatives including the Chrysalis buy-out fund, and serves as Director of Mercantile Pacific — bridging his consulting, investing, and operating experience.

Barnik is an active Silicon Valley investor in early-stage technology startups, with strong engagement across the Indian and US technology ecosystems. He is a recognised thought leader on innovation and AI, a published New York Times bestselling author, and a frequent speaker at global forums on technology, strategy, and the future of industry.

Fabian Sempf brings over 15 years of management consulting and industry leadership experience, with deep expertise in operational excellence, technology-driven transformation, and building global operating structures.

He served as Senior Principal at Arthur D. Little in Germany and India, heading the technology practice as well as the automotive practice — advising leading industrial and technology companies on strategy, operations, and large-scale transformation. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer and Head of Strategy & Transformation at Mercantile Pacific Asia.

Fabian's cross-industry experience spans automotive, energy, logistics, manufacturing, and financial services. He has worked extensively across Europe, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, and the United States, with a proven track record of building and leading internationally distributed organisations.
